Audiology appointments/equipment information

Over the summer, audiology appointments were cancelled. There is now a backlog and many young people have waited months for hearing tests. You can help by attending appointments offered, or rearranging them as early as possible, so the slot can be offered to another child.

If you require a hearing appointment, new moulds, batteries or tubing, please contact your audiology department:

NDCS - Supporting remote learning

Across the UK, many schools are currently closed to most children. Instead, remote education is being provided. We know this can be challenging for many deaf children but we have some resources that can help.

Is your child finding remote learning difficult? If they are, then discuss with the school how they will make sure that your child can still access education. You can share our tips for remote teaching with them.

About Us

Doncaster Deaf Children's Society (DDCS) was established in November 2014 by a group of parents with deaf children with the aim of bringing together families affected by a child with hearing loss.

We intend to represent the views of parents, offer social events and provide support to newly diagnosed familes.
